I've been doing some reading and research on Natural Spectrum lamps and such (Ott-Lite Full-Spectrum, etc...) Anyone have any cheaper solutions?

Im in a NY studio, with 2 windows that dont receive direct sunlight. Without lights on, youd think it was dusk all day long. I need better lighting for painting other then the regular compact flourescents that I have in a table lamp and floor lamp.

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. Thnx!

Have you tried Daylight bulbs? They give a whiter light than flourescent bulbs.
Over here they cost a little under £4, but they last a long time if you don't use them except when you're painting.
