HI everyone! let me just say everyone here is super talented! wow! i love this forum! So i recently got corel essentials 3 and i have so many questions! don't worry i won't ask them all at once. lol. My biggest question is HOW in the world do i achieve a painting look on a photo. I want to turn my portraits into paintings. i was looking at this lady's art -----> susilawsonphotography.biz (http://susilawsonphotography.biz)
does anyone know how to achieve that look? i think it's absolutely wonderful! any good tutorials? websites? Well, thanks in advance for your responses! they are greatly appreciated!

Oh one more newbie question......
am i allowed to have my websites as my signature?? just wondering...don't wanna violate any rules. hehe.

Hi Dalila,

Check this thread where I just posted tutorial info for Painter Essentials 3:

got a wacom intuos - and now?

Also, here are a couple of tutorials by Susi Lawson, written for Photoshop 7, that you may be able to adapt to use with your software once you understand the program. If not, at least these tutorials may give you some idea of how Susi works to achieve her results:
