CA evangelism? That is freaking awesome. You should tell us your story so we can all be encouraged hearing about what these guys were up to :P

Hey Brandon, cool to have you join us! The least we could do was show some CA love and give you a shirt right?

I believe this is the same story they post over at the photo section from the workshop:

Nevertheless, that's still a good story. Correct me if I am mistaken.

EDIT: oops, it was posted already above :P

Ok fair enough.
We had just come back from the workshop and were too tired to do too much walking in the name of food. Low and behold direct in our path to the hotel was a subway. Angels sung. As a group of around say 10 of us entered Brandon threw his arms up and declared "I quit!". Indeed we had driven many food service employee's mad this trip. As we all lined up and after a brief discussion explaining we were from the art workshop Brandon asked the first in our queue, the distinguished Craig D something along these lines - "Judging by the ages here you must be an instructor" - the rest of us simultaneously replied "OOooooooooo" as Craig had just been called old. Brandon immediately blushed and apologized, the rest of us were on the floor laughing. Just a short time later, Craig - as he had been first in line caught my eye and I exclaimed, "Whats up Teach?!". Brandon blushed and apologized again. I tried to let him know we were just having fun and it wasn't a big deal, Craig thought it was pretty funny too. Did I mention Craig is a pimp? We did feel bad of course, not only for harassing the poor guy but that he wasn't able to attend the workshop; so a few of us chipped in and bought him a tshirt. The end. :P

haha this is great! elindi, tell me, whilst at Subway, did you ever try to make works of art with sandwich ingredients during the lulls of lunching? your position (i'm assuming), after all, would have been termed "sandwich artist" :D
welcome to CA, i wish i had a bunch of workshop go'ers lining up for my professional assistance.. then again, they'd wanna be girls and/or secure in their sexuality, since i work at a girls clothing store :P that, and they'd need to travel down under.

Haha awesome, welcome to CA. That was a funny moment when we all shouted "oooooohhh" and then Craig went and ate his sandwich on his own!!
Haha I'm laughing again just thinking about it. Good times : ]
I was one (of two) British guys there in the que. I probably had to say my order twice for you to understand. I got that a lot in Seattle...
