Oh my god that is beautiful metal work. Such a classical feel with a retro jazz to it. The lights integrated also make it an overall awesome piece.

I like the sketches for the pub entrance better than the finished piece.
-I like the "robusteness"/heavy looking contours of your idea but I find the metal work escapes it. -I'm well aware that it's would demand some heavy duty supporting if it were to be made in thicker iron pieces, but the other sketches seems to reveal that you've learnt to accept the quirks/limits ot the materials you play with :-)

The metal pieces look nice as they are... however the real world reveals the limitations of our dreams...

very nice metal work. the execution of the last awning is a bit disappointing considering the nice curbs in your concept drawings but everything still looks great.

so you design and fabricate?

i work in environmental graphics and many times i've design very sculptural pieces which never get built because the client doesn't want to hire an artist etc and i can't do them myself because i must move on and design more stuff.

maybe in a future project you could do some of this for commission for us :P

You have a funky form language. Classic art nouveau with a modern twist. I mean it's decorative but still being very stylish. I'd like to see your stuff in a more contemporary context as well. Have you been collaborating with some architects and designed some metallic details to new buildings? You might want to consider adding even more "swooshiness" in your forms to make it look a bit more chick but still art nouveau. Well, that's what I'd like:)
