thats sick. you're kinda on a nautilus kick lately, eh? i love the guy riding in the back...and the fishing pole...pure genuis. the other one is awesome as well, but i saw it already, since i'm addicted to your forum. i like the second one alot because it reads almost as an abstraction. your design is so amazing. i only hope i can rock like you someday!-c36

I like how that fishing boatboy adds so much to the mood, without it, it would not have look so stunning. Saw the crash plane already too. Both looks stunning, very well composed. Really like that flying airship.

joshua: thanx mate
coro: oh man, stop it heh :D your trad. colors are pure gold compared to this digital testing stuff.
abstraction can represent a paradise as well as a trap.... you know what it is.
endregan, WildSpruceMoose, Blackarts, Jnorish, Ant4d: thanx my friends
ShawnYe: yea, i was happy to find a way th represent that fishing dude. it adds atmosphere to that empty foreground.

Heya!

I really like the change of subject. Fluently. Nice! I really could get addicted to your stuff. I yearn to see it in a storyline context. Who are those men and women leading, riding those metal creatures into battle and what are they fighting for?
IŽd also really like to see one of these after you add more depth, more detail. Where can I find a , uhhh, maybe 18 hour work or so? ;)

-real cool stuff, btw-

Awesome!

Years ago there was a game for the Amiga called "Storm Master" by a company called Silmarils. Basically it was a war between 2 islands where both sides build flying machines to wage war on each other. Reminds me of it.

The style and design impeccable as always. :chug:

Do you use Painter at all or is it always Photoshop?

THE FLYING THINGIE is great Sparth

I like the mood and atmosphere. The pose of the guy on the big ship is great. he seems confident. which for me adds to the adventure. The guy floating behind is an ideal addition to this piece.

Very Impressive

Hello Sparth. I always like the edges and contrast in your pieces, and these are no exception. Cool stuff!

bbwolf: concerning the plot, i haven't any idea of what i meant really. i just wanted to find something very atmospheric. it does look like some sort of "everyday life" scene, though.
i'll try to put more time in the future ones. it's not always an easy task transforming conceptart into plain detailed illustration. even more when your own schedule doesn't allow you to do so.

Atmospheria: yea, the foreground dude is fishing. hey, if i had time, i'd make a whole serie of these. who knows. :D

ceenda: photoshop only. i'm beginning to use painter, but if i had to show you stuff, you'd laugh very hard. :s

davi, mushuhaha, Hardcore: thanx mates! /D

Dakardaur: lol thanx!

Kappei: i guess we have a lot of stuff stored in our brains. the most import fact is not to draw these concepts well, but to establish the right connections to these visual librairies.
i tend to go straight to the wacom without doing any sketch.
more like digital sculpture.
i always begin by doing a 72dpi sketch, to go very fast, and remain nervous. afterwards, i resize the sketch to 250 or 300 dpi.

Glenn K: thanx. i wanted these characters to act natural.

sedone: thank you mate! good to see you leave a post. i'm your greatest fan!

thank u very much sparth, it means a lot for me :)
yes but if you make the picture (72dpi) is the print quality not bad?
or do u draw the picture again? i think not :)

thank u again
