it's a project called "relics of the chozo". they made a remix of the supüer metroid soundtrack that is quite interesting to listen to.
lots of different takes, style wise, mostly electronic music but also some tracks that sound more orchestral.

you need a player software that is capable of playing ogg vorbis files. basically, winamp should do the job (versions 2.9 or newer)
you can get players (and info) from www.vorbis.com

i am quite fond of that file format. it is free and a ~80kbps vorbis sounds just as good as a 128kbps lame mp3.
