I am a published author with an extremely strong comic script. I am looking for an artist with a distinct style who is great at sequential art to join our team. I am also looking for a high quality colorist. If you can do both, even better!
Must be extremely dedicated, hard working, willing to give 110% to this project and love the Gangster/Mobster genera. This is a great opportunity for artists looking to break into the comic book industry with me. The script and back-story have been in development for over a year and it is a solid and original idea.
The expectation would be that the penciler and colorist can finish about 12 pages a month and that the first book would be finished in 2 months. Every other issue after that would need to be finished in 2 to 3 weeks MAX.
THIS IS A NON-PAYING job at the moment, BUT all compensation for work will be discussed before hiring. The idea is to split the profits of the book once it is published.
If this sounds of interest to you, please send an email to john_smith206@hotmail.com with the subject line “Penciler” or “Colorist.”
Only artists being considered will be contacted. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
“The” John Smith
