try getting your own free account with netfirms. it too has a bandwidth limit but you can pay cheaply for more and more bandwidth.
i know there is a way to get around the geocities block by implenting a sur-http of sorts in the link. anybody know the exact details?

The drawing style is nice. I think the mech designs themselves need some thought. They appear to have constructs on them for no reason. A mech should have all of it's parts look like they are there for an obvious purpose. I get the feeling of drawing to fill space.
There is a guy named nathan something or other here. His pics are on the entry page. The mechs all look absolutely functional. All the parts, recognizable or not, appear to be needed and actually do something.
I like the interiors.

I agree with the above comments, I think you are off to agood start but the bots lack purpose. They are just hunks of robot bits at the moment. These Robots seem to have no motivation or place in a world. When doing a concept dont just bash out a drawing with out knowing what you are drawing. Or you will end up with a mixed thing that has no value. Say ok Im going to design a scout robot, what does a scout robot need, how does my scout robot move, what kind of scout am I ? Am I a earth robot or an alien robot? Think before you draw. You also seem to be following the DOug Chang school of rendering, good idea to start but try and develope your own style or you will be just another clone.

Thanx fo da comments, crits, and advice..
Fisa-Thanx, I did finally pay the 4 dollar fee to 250 free.com and apparently that's working----for now...
Poly Cube- Thanx, man....
Mr. Napkins- Many thank yous, who is this Sammy that you speak of, where can I check out his stuff??....
Guenter, aka, Josh??- What's up!?! I would have posted sooner, but I didn't know until now that you had to have your own hosting, Bryson helped me out on that one....
Howdy- Good advice, and I thank you for it...Nathan Campbell is definately a badass inspiration for my style.....
Cryo- You also have a good point, if not the same as the above one... I'm gonna try thinking of what the mech will be used for before I design it....Sometimes it's just a lot more fun and less worry to just let go and crank out a shape that feels good...On the Doug Chiang thing, I have both of the Star Wars art books and have read them thoroughly, good call....

I dig robots man, these are some pretty nice concepts.
My one critique is not in your concepts, but the variance between your pieces.
I feel like your stronger pieces are the ones with dynamic vantage points and angles. The side shots really take away from the excitement of the devices. Side views work nicely if you have multiple angles in a single piece, like a front, side, top and angled points of view.
Just something to think about anyway.
Good stuff.

Thanx Punisher, I agree that the angle helps, but it's also good to do a simple side view, in that you don't have to think about the perspective, you just do the shape how you like it...
