Your flash needs massive improvement. I would suggest you stick with a more traditional style and leave out the flash until you've a better understanding of how it works. After your master flash I would recommend you take one of your peaces and convert it into your site. Definitely go with some complete abstract navigation system and loading animations. Going with that type of style would definitely fit right in with your artistic peaces. Hell you could even use multiple peace to pull off your animations.

I almost left your site with out looking at your work. I'm extremely happy I stuck it out and took a gander at your portfolio. Your peaces are immensely inspirational.
