A few quick questions...

Hello all!

I was hoping to get some simple questions answered about Photoshop.

Okay I have a Wacom Tablet 6 x 11 and Photoshop CS2.

Ive not too familiar with filetypes and recommended resolutions.

What do you typical suggest for settings? such as width, height, resolution...

I want to do sketches/art on my tablet, and since I also have a widescreen monitor I want to take advantage of that as well.

Thanks for any help, cant wait to get a sketchbook started :)

If your just doing art for yourself/practice, and it's just intended for veiwing on a computer monitor then I guess around A5/A4 size at 300dpi would be normal (thats generally my standard anyway). As for widescreen and all that jazz, just hit the different aspect ratios whenever you think it will be good for an image. Have fun with it:)
