I had gotten a temporary red ring a few months ago and lately the cd drive has been making noises that did not sound good at all. As of last night my drive refuses to read disks. Microsoft is sending a coffin to have it repaired. I thought that when the Elite systems were released that a majority of the hardware problems would be resolved.. I was wrong.

I'm on my third 360. Although I'm severely pissed at Microsoft I have to admitt that they were cool about it, they extended the warranty and when I got my Xbox back I also got a free month of Xbox live.

If it were not for the fact that the Xbox 360 has the best selection of games I probably would have picked up a PS3 by now.
