Just got a new Macbook Pro, I absolutely love it. Only problem is, it has but two USB ports + Firewire! Now the thing is I'd rather not have to keep a hub around too, I use a crapload of USB ports (VX Revolution, Card Reader, WD Passport just to name a few)

So that being said I have ye olde Graphire 4 4x5, and it works great for me. Ever bit of artwork you see on this site from me thus far was created with it. I also own an Intuos 4x6, but some jerkoff stole my pen when I was using the bathroom in college, and thus the tablet cannot be found in the jungle that is my boyfriend's study.. I'm sure once I buy a new tablet I'll find it, but I digress.

GET ON WITH IT ALREADY!!!

Okay! OKAY!...I love the features of the Intuos3, I feel like I have more control over my paintings, and that makes me a happy panda. BUT of course this will take up a precious already occupied USB port. I saw on WACOM's website that the only Graphire they offer now is the 6x8 Bluetooth Graphire, and this would be fantastic since my macbook comes bluetooth enabled automatically and so far I've been able to synch my cell phone no problem. It would also save room in my laptop bag, since there would be no mishmashed cords coiled up around it. I am seriously considering buying it, but I wanted to talk to you guys first, and see if it was worth the trouble?

A) Anyone had experience or problematic experience with the Graphire Bluetooth 6x8 ? Any problems synching it with a bluetooth enabled computer, and any problems using it at all?

B) Would replacing my corded Intuos3 be worth it, since I'm so used to the Graphire?

And finally

C) Does this bluetooth Graphire differ in specs than the Graphire4 series at all? Same pressure sensitivity, but anything else I should be wary of?

And that's that. Gods I'm hung over. Thanks! :steph:
