Flying to Canada gives one plenty of drawing time, here are my weekends works. I'm trying to get realistic human figures from my head... this task is always a WIP

These are looking good, even though there is some small issues with proportion. I'd say because you style is so close to comic work, get some older discount comics, and just start drawing quick gestures from them, keeping a mind on the proportions of the torso, arms, pelvis, ect.. It seems like you may be doing this already, in which I'd say keep it up!
