I believe this takes place after SF3 and the timeline is probably what it is now, unless it's something like Alpha/Zero which took place during the late 80's I guess, so Ryu has aged among others. Also, he has tight buttocks now. :assspank:

Don't know what to expect, I hoped it was 2D with high res sprites etc.

Yes I see, but I said '2D with high res sprites' (but I see the mistake in communication what I really meant). I'm certainly glad the gameplay is 2D but still; 2D graphics for life!! (i don't have a grudge against 3D games, just prefer the sprites style of these fighting games. :teeth:)

Those mock up movies are great in their own way! Thanks for sharing, haven't seen them all.

Oh, same here. All 2d games have that.....special feeling, like they had something extra put into them. Like mortal kombat and street fighter. Awesome games in 2d, when they hit 3d though, omfg they sucked.

wow that looks pretty fucking cool! Though i really hoped the gameplay would be more like the trailer video was with that really cool painterly style. That would have been a really cool take on a well established franchise, but the game still looks sweet!

Looks really cool, maybe they are finally giving oldschool fans a treat, i thought the 3d versions were disappointing, making it in 2D is a nice move from their part,looks really fun. If a bunch of kids complain about not having it the tekken way,well screw them! ;)

There are really good 3d fighting games but SF and MK work better in 2d, thats how we all remember them from when we were kids sneaking in the arcades, thats were the special feeling comes from imo.
