I think the reason I am posting my digital sketchbook is more for me to see a progression of my work in a single area. Since I started working in hi-tech industry in '96, I have ahd my work spread out in different arenas, computers, and sketchbooks, and now, I want to pull them here to see if I can invoke some feedback and hopefully (at least for myself) some inspiration. Most of these peices have been veiwed here in different sections, but I have not seen them toghether yet, and I am extremely curious if there is any actual porgression. As soon as my scanner gets transfered to my other computer, I will be posting more traditional pencils and inks. Well, let us see what happens....

some things done at my first company when I just barely got out of Savannah College of Art and Design...

character for a movie the company wanted to do the effects for. We didn't get the project, and I don't think the movie went into production.

Big city of the future, this took me 3 days to draw, and then I realized it was'nt to the proper (relative) scale. So, I had to start all over.
The building was intended to be bit higher, scratching the upper most atmosphere. I don't remember how tall, but I do remember it was to be TALL.

hey triton, I do plan on it, always seem to see it in color already. I just don't have any confidence in my color/painting abilties. I just recently picked up oils for the first time, and already in a short time, I have learned so much about pallettes and color usage.
here are some examples of my coloring ability...

Yo! I like those models :D
Are you gonna texture them? I'd like to see them finish.
That would be awesome!

xia, unfortunately, the model was lost when i left the company I made it at. The project was to be a showcase of our talents as a low budget, high quality special effects house, with full motion capture and compositing, all done in one shop. But alas, the dream was never realized. I have a ton of sketches and models from that time, I will dig around to find them. We had some really cool ideas there, but passion doesn't pay the bills.

quicky, under 2hrs, this one I really tried to focus on lighting, and getting some saturated colors in there.
