Hey,
I'm starting some work for myself to try and build my concept art skills- that is working toward a brief, even if it is made up by me, rather than just doodling and coming up with whatever.
Without going in to too much detail the project is going to be a graphic novel/ film noir/ crime sorta thing in black and white (i think) based in SE Asia.
Before I start though I'd like to get an idea if anyone knows of anything like this that's been done before?
I have quite a certain concept in mind but I'm worried that I'm exploring old territory...
Please let me know if there are artists/ books I should look out for to give me a sense of what's gone before, that'd be great :)
