Man that looks great! The clouds look very good with all the different colors, and the two suns ;). You may want to emphasize the _two_ light sorces more, or maybe thats just me. The craft also looks as if it recently crashed, so therefore wouldnt there be smoke etc.? Also, it looks a little odd how the craft is just sort of placed there, thats what it looks like at least. You may want to add more jagged edges, loose rocks, and more parts from the ship.
Otherwise it is a great piece :) Nice job on it, and I love the clouds!! :)
Something I just noticed, the clouds seem to fade into the color of the mountains, very grayish. This may be the effect you want, but you may also want to emphasize the color more as the clouds receede back.
I'm a newbie, so just consider my advice, dont be too hasty ;)
Great job on it!

mos667-thank you for the feed back :) you are excactly right about the ship just being placed there, the ship was an after thought, and that also leads to the reason theirs no smoke... or the other Idea I had was over growth and snow, I couldnt make up my mind as to if the ship JUST crashed or has been their for Years?...I threw this "making Of" sort of thing togeather out of some of the left over saves I had to kind of show you what I mean, I started out just trying to learn how to paint snowy mountain terrain, I realy do appreciate the fact you took the time to realy look over the painting :) http://www.artwanted.com/images/large/3188_37992.jpg

Well it makes sense now! :) Either way, I still like it, and thankyou for sharing the steps to create it. I love how you tackled creating the clouds. What did you use for them? I'm still in awe of them :p. Also, how long did this take you?
:-D

I used to do these weird wispy type clouds, and then went looking around the net two see ideas that others have tried, and I came across some of the coolest clouds online (my opinion)
and this person posted a wicked tutorial on his site, I used some of the concepts he used on his clouds then chose to make my clouds look "shiney" and bit more rounded so I wouldnt be just copying him, and because I over shine alot of my doodles and this way I would be staying true to my own style as well as learnig how to use color better like he does,.... :)
That artists name who`s tutorial and all around style are excellent is Jaime Jones, and I hope he doesnt mind, but heres a link to his site were he shows how he does his clouds,
(very realistic looking style compared to the ones I did on this pic)I realy suggest checking out the rest of his work,
