Yes theyre back, and as a hommage to their new series i decided to draw something light hearted and go for leonardo. I used the new style turtles as reference.

Donatello was always my fav. I would twirl a broom around like it was a bo. (Think of the starwars kid) yeah.
but This is tight. I like the cuts you made to give it a slick skin shade. Hands could be better. especially the left one.(His right) and hes sword is kinda smudgy. but like I said, great cell shaded look.

aH i also have revisited the heroes of my childhood, the boys in green.
his "belt" thingy had no color for most of it. it's black. which makes it next-to impossible to distinguish
it's the thumb, mostly, on his right hand. it'l like he doesn't have one.
and for sure, the swords. right now, their rendering doesn't fit with the rest of the pic

i think you dont like this pic as much because the colors are a bit too oversaturated and i think the highlight wasn't used sparingly enough another thing is that the num chucks kinda go crazy, in that the one in the R hand is much larger than the num chuck L hand but the arms don't scale to the same degree

These are pretty good. I like the first on much better. Mostly because the way he is standing is much more powerful. He looks more menacing (esp. for a turtle). The second one's legs look odd, like they are too straight and the nunchucks are too different in size, like mentioned above. The shading is better used on the first one also. One more thing, is the linework doesn't quite match the clean look of the colors. They almost look like they were made with a crayon. But it still works, I would just ad a little more detail.
Good effort!:D
