Hello All. I haven't posted anything in a while. This is a study of a John Singer Sargent painting. Learned a new technique from a friend, the paint is pretty thin.

BTW, Craing Mullins has a pdf on the methods of Mr. Sargent on his website (www.goodbrush.com) in the process section. You should check it out if you haven't already.

BTW #2, deviantart sucks and doesn't allow hotlinking. So most people are probably seeing a red x for your image.

Sorry about the red x. It used to work in the past. I love Craig Mullins work. I haven't seen the tutorial, but I'll be sure to check it out. The painting is titled Miss Elise Palmer. You can see it at the Art Renewal Center web site.
