hello friends... couple recent pics continuing my samurai fetish. any feedback appreciated. any thoughts or critiques on the oil painting would be nice. i painted it in one day for like 6-8 hours (only stopping for food) --it was tiring but fun as hell--ty

so whatdo you guys think of the second pic? does it enhance the original? i was trying to make it feel like a spiritual energy had awaken this character

im not sure about the second pic--personally i like it the best. but people dont seem to be really responding to it that much. do you think its an improvement on the oil, and does it look like spiritual energy coming off him or more of a purple light in the room ?
