ghoulio: Thanks a lot
Dan Valkar: Thanks for crit!!

RandAlThor: I'm willing to share my brushes as soon as someone tells me where I can upload 'em!!
SEVANS: Cool, you like it! Thank you.
teho: Thanks
Vulgar`: Defenetely it is ;)
mellongcreate : Strong figure work, you think? Thank you man. Dunno kept uptading it quite some time, then I kept drawing more than uptading. Then I thought I should start a new one as I had improved a lot since last thread.
ovset: Coming, coming :)
And here is stupid speedpaint.. Somekind of futuristic cityscapeview with snow.. yes, those tiny white balls are snow, stupid concept....

Those hive patterns are held within winter seclusion. I'd like to see you design an all out winter battlefield, recombinations combined for a clash of solidity. A suggestion for your latest: A central pattern could be marked at the center of the horizontal cityscape - maybe one signal of symbolic significance that rises above the city and the atmosphere.
Keep doing you

Hey man, you have some pretty cool things in here. Especially like the little sketches in your book. Enviros are pretty sweet as well. Anatomy is your weak spot, just keep studying those books, drawing from life and you'll be well on your way. Waiting for some more.

Jokisalo, thanks a lot for visiting my SB.
I see some really great works here, man! The blue piece have a great mood, so evocative. I like your freedom on using brushes, really nice brushstrokes.
I'm pretty jealous of your capability to sketching on tiny surfaces; i LOVE the moleskine, but every time that i try to use it, i'm go crazy!

Hey, thanks for posting in my SB. :)
These latest ones are killer, a huge improvement over your others. In the insect one, you should shade the legs in the background a bit more, they look a bit too prominent. Also, maybe you should add some minor imperfections on them. Right now you can tell they were duplicated.
Otherwise, really nice. Keep it up.

I saw how you left me such a wonderfully nice post in my sketchbook so I thought I'd check yours out too, give it a little dabble if you know what I"m saying :P
Anyways, I like your art very much, I see a great deal of things in there ranging from gigeresque to cyberpunkish aswell as some great fantasy style elements combined into one dope style...I also like how you make your sketchbook have that "cool" sketchbook look with nice looking scribbles and full pages etc...mine always look bland and empty because I often times am very impatienty and move on after failing to get a drawing to look right after 2 mins...ah the frustration :P....anyways enough waffle....great stuff ye got here

January 9th, 2008, 06:05 PM
Good style developing, something tells me your going to take what you know now and hone it into a more perfected use of texture...but your off to a great start.
Are a majority of the textures brush combinations...any photo use? Have you done a lot of general value and form studies? You have some great works in your webpage also (check it out if your looking over this SB). Time to post more new stuff!

Hey hey, it's nice to see you doing some more colorful work, quantity wise that is!
I got to say that they are looking pretty sweet, Nice stuff :)
The suggestion I'd have is to be a bit more careful when using textures, like that fly-like creature became awfully flat thanks to the texture just being slapped on it.
