Cottages of Atmospheria deeps...

Hey there CA
I'm working on a self project...i "hope" it will be a graphic novel. It's about a city called "Atmospheria"...yea..like my nick and the action going around it...And these are the cottages beneath the city..yea..beneath, cause atmospheria is a sky city...people lives there after the great nuclear war...anyway..long story...here's the first painting...and there are some concept sketches in my daily sketch thread...

Really nice painting with a good concept. I like the idea of tethering my home to a mountaintop. I'm interested to see more of the people, do they have to wear oxygen masks all the time or are their homes pressurized? What else is happening in this world, war over limited resources, sky pirates? (I do realize my answers might be found in your sketch thread, i'll be taking a look there to see more of your stuff)

This is a nice concept. I like the roof and look of the huts. They look cozy and warm. :)

Very cool concept, man... I like this very much. I like how they seem to be tied down, floating instead of supported in the air.

I like flying homes and clouds. :) Thats really nice. I find the composition is pretty well thought out. That object on the lower right seems to look like a fallen spaceship to me. A few more lights would be cool.

i really like the colors. the orange of sunset gives it that "end of the day atmosphere", like you know what i mean :P as in after something big zhappened. anyways, it reminds me alot of the flying city from Starwars, did you use any reference?

zeroe: well it's after the war actually but so much time has passed...atmosphere gone dark and cossy...i didn't use any references...
