Just so you non-brits know thats not me having an ego its what the course was called lol. I got a B overall and these are a few of my photos.

These were from my Freedom Project, basicly we were given the word freedom and that was it from that we could do whatever we wanted so long as it related back. I'm gay and so its kinda a big part of my life but it wasnt always peachy so I used that, kinda sold myself out knowing that i could put more into the work if it was personal than if i did something random. The downside is that by the end of the project there were bits that I felt were too personal, so much so that I ripped several pages out of my books before handing them in.

There are two others that went with this set but I cant find them I think they are still at school though so will post them soon.

Along with these were another set, these were displayed side by side in a row. The point is that you can look at someone and think, 'yeah I know who they are' just from the way they dress or act. I got these six guys to take a photo of themselves, my only instruction to them was to be natural, i then used photoshop to change part of their clothing to represent the pride flag. Two of them are straight the other four are gay, can you pick them out? Didn't think so.

(I wasn't so happy with Chris's pic as the yellow didn't look natural but I ran out of time.)

The second project we were given a bit more direction but the tital was 'A Day in the Life of London' as central London is only an hour or so away from me it was handy and I had a lot of fun spending time there being a nerd These are my final prints...

These two were displayed side by side and show the controling force behind the country, the government and the Queen. They went well together because of the colours which I didnt edit at all, from these photos the only editing i did was to replace a car in the 'Queen' photo with the taxi.

These were displayed underneath the above photos in a line, they show the people going about their lives yet also still show the people controling them, the first and last still have the government in them and the middle has a churche tucked away. Dont get me wrong i'm not a churchy person but our country was built by three ruling factors, the monarch, the government and the church so to portrey 'A Day in the Life of London' these must be included.

Also aestheticly they worked together as a set as the shapes created by the London Eye and the mast and lights of Tatershal Castle flow into the level of the middle image.

Some rejects from this project but still worth mentioning...

I nearly deleated this photo as it was blurred but i like it, its a tree from Regents Park.

Part of a series I did to experiment with focus but I particularly liked this one on its own.

The sweep of the London Eye is very attractive even though the photograph isnt as sharp as I would have liked, the slow exposure needed in the dark and the movment made it hard to get even this image.

I love the colour of this photo and the reflection in the water is beautiful.

OK You are probably fed up of me now but I have three more for you, these are random photos from when I was experimenting with the camera, I thought they came out quite well.

I like your still-life photos. :)

Overall, I think you should play around more with composition and look into getting a tripod.

Keep shooting and posting! :) Don't forget to number your photos as well.

Thanks, yeah the lack of tripod was a pain in the backside, spesh with the night photography, had a hell of a time trying to get motion shots too, as you can see i mostly gave up on them lol.

What do you mean numbering photos?

Kinda new to all this, for the course we were taught the bare minimum to get us through and that was it from there I decided that I love photography and am looking to do a degree in it next year.

By numbering photos I mean:

1. [insert photo here]
2. [insert photo here]

It helps other leave feedback on specific images. Just take a gander at some of the more established threads. The photos are numbered and/or titled most of the time.

Oh, that was silly of me lol I will go and number them when I finish college (or during, today is a slow day lol)
