Weeeee. okay. My mom found one of these paintings in a dumpster before I was born, and another one I think she found 2 or 3 years ago in another dumpster (No idea why anyone would throw art out but whatever) And one of them has no signature on it, the other does but stupid me cant read it. And, because of my curiosity, I finally decided to try and figure out who these are by, just because I want to, yay. So..why not post pictures on a board full of artists and art lovers? Yay. On with the pictures, and if you're immature and cant handle a little artistic nudity, then dont look.

UPDATE: Thanks to everyone on the mIRC channel, we've come to find out that the 2nd one is most likely by Leopold Schmutzler, but I have yet to find a picture online of this specific painting

(Excuse the camera reflections :bash: ) This one I like alot, and the signature is in the upper right corner, the 3rd picture is a close-up of the signature, just in case someone might actually be able to read it unlike me

If anyone recognizes these, please respond with who they're by, because I'd like to know so I can see more of their art since I like these.

Weeeeeeeeeeee. Bye.

The first is one of Aubrey Beardsley's illustrations for Wilde's Salome.

Aubrey Beardsley is so cool!
You sure this is original and not a print ?

I'm pretty sure they're both copies/prints. But the 1st one is strange not like a normal painting, its a frame with a piece of glass on the front and on the actual glass is the black..ink or paint, and the back side of the frame is a yellowish color, which is why the part that..isnt black looks yellows :P Thanks for the help everyone :D

Hey

Matthew from the chat here. Still have to find out who the second painter is then, did you find out who it is? or was it Leopold?

I'm pretty sure the second is by Leopold, even though I havent found this painting I have online yet, but I found another painting that looks exactly like the girl that is on mine, and even though in the pictures I've found the signature is barely visible, from what I can see it resembles the signature in mine.
