This is a peice that i'm doing in my free time. I know that there lacks something in composition, so I'm going to put a third chameleons walking toward them by the last building. I'm looking for more of color criticism.

well, if all you want is color...
It's tough to tell so far. you haven't indicated what color the environment is. I don't super-like the hat color, but it might work, depending. it's shape is off (oops! right, just color..)
it depends on the style you want, but even if you're keeping all the outlines, i don't think you need every scale. especially not on the one to the right. who looks like he might be choking, by the way. I think yoiu need to use some value to make clear the shape of their eyes (round).
by the way, what's the red on lefty's neck?

First off: thank you for the feedback.

I'm going to make the background a dirty color scheme. Browns, golds, reds, and the lot. The red around lefty's neck is going to be a hankercheif. However, that will take a while.

By the by, not to add shock value or anything, but this is my first attempt at coloring with a wacom tablet. (Graphire)

the lizards look a lot better with the dark background (as opposed to white)
it's lookin good, keep going.
you might check out the good the bad and the ugly for color inspiration. that movie has quality art directing in my opinion
