These are speedpaintings? Man, I wish my finished works would look half as good as those ;-)
Yeah, and I know this is the place where I should post some constructive crits, but really, what could anyone possibly crit in these?
Post more!

Its good to see you watched intently on the making of brushes in the speedpainting to concept art dvd. I wished I could own the copy my friend has, I would watch it over and over. All I have is tiny slivers of memories.

Hi there,
I'm lovin' these, especially the last two pieces. You've got a pleasing style going on. The interior of the large greenhouse/botanical garden is beautiful as well. Nicely done!! :)
I would like to see some more of your work!

Hey Marek, it's nice seeing you posting on this site. I have been a fan of your work. I still consider the "Mal'ak Adonai" and "Homecoming" pieces as some of my favorite paintings :P
I like the impact that the first piece has with such a nice angle and lighting. The flow in the warrior character is a good one too. Hope to see most posts from you.

Nice inspirational sketches, lots of motion in some of them, keep working on developing your own voice though, at the moment these remind me very much of Vyle and Barontiere, although I haven't read all the comments I'm guessing I'm not the first to point this out. It's not necessarily a bad thing though, it takes skill to be compared to them, but just don't let it hold you back as well. Keep pushing!

Damn. 60-90 minutes. You ought to record a painting session for youtube. I'm sure a lot of us could learn a great deal from watching. Dude, I gotta say, I looked at your deviant art site browsed it in chronological order, and there's such a huge improvement between stuff done in 2004 and the present. Not to put down earlier stuff but it's the kind of leap that could only result from insanely hard work and discipline. That's some serious kudos from me.

great speedpaints, I like the colors in the lava one and the lighting in the goddess tower, i could find a few details that I can bitch about, but I wont since these are amazing speedpaints done within 60-90.

Thanks guys ;] I'm really glad you like my stuff :D And I know it kinda looks like cheap knockoff of Vyle and Barontiere work, but I'm just so much looking up to those guys. I hope one day I will be able to fell confident enough to carry this style in my own direction but right now I have a lot to learn, so finding my own style have to wait till I master enough of craft itself
Benn kinda busy with commercial work, but during Christmas brake Ill try to do more of those speed paintings so expect thread update early new year ;]
Best of luck

These I like. Nice pose and composition on the Eastern warrior girl. The skull in the hood is a nice study in textures.

These are mesmerizing.
My only question to you is... How the heck do you do it? :P
I would love to see your progress, shot by shot. How do you begin, how do you finish etc.

Everyone has said so much - theres not much more to say. Gotta offer my support though. These paintings really capture the essense of art. You're up there with the CA gurus that keep the inspiration at a maximum here. Rock on, brother
