Very nice. Is there no chance we'll see the rest of it? I'd really like to.

i think you had a very smart idea doing a close up, as now the compo is much better in my opinion.
the large pose you did is not natural enough, and the character is not remaining steady on the ground, which is a bad thing for the general balance.

the closer version is plain perfect. we see enough of the design, and though we would have liked to see more of the weapon, composition is perfect.
colors and tones are impressive, and the small details are very well rendered.

such a nice piece.

Cool ! I just love the chara design. I'm not a big fan of the guy's skin color but the whole image is great anyway.

Yup. Looks great otherwise, though.

too saturated? nah, i don't think though. but maybe you might try concentrating the saturation at a focal point... you kinda have already done that with the light reflecting off his mask- nice handling

i'm envious

oh my dear lord, if i had your talent and experience about 6 mos. ago, i'd have a job, lol. wasteland subject material is my favorite.

as for the saturation, i think the arm could be even more saturated (it would be bright red from the sun, if he was fair skinned [redheaded person] and sunburned) or if the person had more tan skin, it could be a darker bronze with a little bit of red.

Very nice! I like the palette just the way it is. The only thing that sticks out to me is the ejecting brass- it's too schematic and flat, not tumbling as it should be. The band-aid is perfect!

Very nice! I especially like how the shading/colours interact with the linework. It's a fine style! :)

Nothing to crit, man, just a beautiful picture. Great composition choice.

Yow! Nice character, man! I really like the use of texture. The nice thing about this design is that you've found a good balance of decorative detail versus functionality. A lot of artists (myself sometimes) throw so much extra stuff and doodads on their characters that their costumes become cumbersome and unrealistic. Here, you have a lot of interesting details that dont restrict the characters range of motion and actually look like they could serve some purpose. Nice color job too! My only crit would be that if this guy truly made his living on the fringes of civilization, he would probably have coarse skin and be a little more wiry and defined in his musculature. Right now it looks like this guy pampers himself with skin moisturisers and waxes his arms to get that silky-smooth skin that is the envy of all wasteland bandits. How about adding hair to those arms and bringing out the tendons and muscles of the elbow a bit more? As they say in France, "Elbows make the man"....(well they don't really say that, but I don't have a better quote right now, heh heh)

yes, the skin needs to be reworked, as do the muscle definition, thnx

I think the arms look great, nothing wrong with having a little interpretation. The colors impress me. The only thiing I see wrong is that it looks like the muzzle flash may add some more highlights to the smaller detail metal parts of the gun. It (the rendering) definitly sells this character, great job!

Looks great. The pose shows a good amount of action. Nice colouring as always and the how the arms are working with the gun looks very real.
