SVA foundation year professor suggestions?

I'm going to be registering at SVA for the classes for my first semester on Monday (feels weird to start my school year in January). And I know the choice of professors really makes a difference what you get out of a class and that it's especially important for the first two years. I know a lot of people that have attended SVA post here so I was wondering if anyone had any tips as to the professors I should really go out of the way to get a class with. Any I should avoid?

So, you're doing the 1st semester spring, 2nd semester summer deal? Unfortunately, I think your choices are far more limited than if you were starting in the fall. I don't have a reg book handy, but if you post the names of the drawing and painting instructors you can chose from I can see if anybody sounds familiar.

I'm a second semester freshman transfer student so I'll just be jumping in with the rest of the freshman class and we should all be on the same schedule. I had enough transfer credits from my associates degree to count toward apx. one and a half semsters. So I'm not doing the summer semester.

Aaaand I just looked at my book to post some names and it appears I don't have a registration book handy either. It looks like they mailed the wrong book to me in my info packet! I just talked to SVA and they're overnighting me the right book so I'll have it tomorrow to look through the names and post my choices. Thanks, Elwell. :mod: <---hehe I love this thing.
