Hello Everyone, How are you all?
Lately i have been having a problem. I used to always love to draw and stuff, but lately i am in no mood to draw or do anything. My question to you is:
What gets you inspired to draw, paint or anything artistic?
I am getting artist's block.. Wahhh Help me
I am in a desert of creativity with no water to sustain me.

GregS.: before everyone in this forum groans at you, I gotta say look at the 6,000 other older threads on this very same topic. This must be the most overposted message on the A.D. subforum....
For starters:

http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=110062
http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=109454

http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=107333
http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=105101
And there were a few "lack of inspiration" threads in there somewhere too...
We all go through this (if that makes you feel any better). The advice everyone's going to give you is go outside, listen to music, watch movies, use different media, experiment, read Art & Fear (good book).
Good luck :)

Yes i would have to agree to sticky the very good links posted by Forecast and Farvus. Reading the posts actually helped me a little bit to draw.
I found that if i have my music playing on shuffle i can draw what images come to mind. I set rules that i only have until the song's end to draw it. Then i move onto the next image. It inspired me to do exercises and to draw a few things that opened me up.
I hope this helps someone eventually!

The thing that keeps me going is looking at the pros work. I think, I want to be like them and i start to draw wether i like it or not.
