I'm working on a 3D animation, but of course I have been doing concept art to use as reference for the 3D models. I'm building a website for my animation and want to put up some concept art. I just need to know what kind of materials do you guys use to colour (color for you yanks) and shade your images (without using any computer programs) so that I can make them look pretty for the website. I realise that it will take a bit of practice to get them looking good, but I want to give myself the best opportunity to do this.
