Finally found a way to scan some drawings in.

About 30 min. of work, here and there:

the mouth isn't open - thats like a metal pad thingy, the scanner screwed it up.

Hey Incognito, good to see you posting. The drawing is okay, he seems to come off a little flat. Tha concept is he is falling right. Lets see more! Work that drawing hand!

well not really as much falling as more of trying to escape a giant "the thing" type goo... How does he seem a bit flat? I am guessing there is not enough shading?

I would use my drawing hand more, but I'm in a bit of a slump right now :(

No, don't worry about shading, man. Worry about drawing some simple forms that appear to have volume in 3d. Also work from photos and/or life and focusing on drawing through and simplify the shapes. Do that kind of thing to warm up, and then approach a concept like you have there. I am sorry you are in a slump, do slump art, keep drawing you know.
