Does anyone here own one of these? I want to buy one, but as they're a bit on the expensive side, thought I'd ask if it's worth the price -- it'll cost me around $120.

Are you buying from http://www.planesofthehead.com/ ? I've ALWAYS wanted one and was looking everywhere. Unfortunately, the one on the website (Asaro's neice or something) looks like a cheapass plastic cast... The fact that there is only ONE pic that seem to show one hell of an ugly seam is making my spider sense tingle.
Don't mean to highjack your thread but I'm also looking for one, hopefully a plaster copy. Also, I think Asaro did more than one model, perfecting it as he went by.

egerie: No, not from that website. The one I'm interested in is on eBay and it's made from ceramic. Anyway, since I haven't had any feedback here, I couldn't wait any longer and went ahead and bought it before anybody else grabbed it. The seller has sold some previously, so it's possible that he might have a few more for sale. Here is a link to the details of the item if you're interested:

Balooga: hey congrats on your purchase there! I think I'll ask the question in the lounge to get more attention...
