CA Atelier related querries

im trying for the CA atelier course this year..just wanted some help...
this might sound highly stupid :S but wht do the people at the atelier look for in a portfolio..or what should a strong portfolio contain? also cn i get in touch with neone who is currently pursuing the atelier course.

go through the main page member galleries up top. Those are the people who you will cross paths with. There is a range of traditional, digital, imaginative and life drawing/painting work...ie FROM LIFE.
