Nice. Reminds me heavily of Homeworld.
Two things. One, more contrast would be good. Its a bright sun and a shiny surface. Look at pictured of cars for help. Two, the 'Orion Heavy Industries' text is off a bit...i think its perpective. It goes from small to big rather quickly.
What materials did you use?

That's a GREAT drawing and color job. I love it, but it was either done for Homeworld2 or you had just played the demo that came out cuz it's a spitting image of the new HW carriers...

It's a nice concept...but lack of details...if its a carrier it must have heavy details...because it's huge...not mothership but huge...a little bit homeworlish and japanese style...cool...
post more..

I think it's a nice design. I do agree that it needs more detail to make it look bigger. But it a;so needs a new environment. The environment that it's in right now makes it look like it's only a couple inches long. It looks like a model on a desk not like a huge space carrier. Keep posting

Hmm.. or just a little size reference ? I love sophisticated simplicity. And HW2 rocks ;)
Sammy : I'm wondering the same thing

maybe you could do some tiny glowing ships for these people.. they seem to have never seen a carrier before..
Personaly I've played/seen enough space cadett stuff to use the hangar bay as the size reference .. it's gotta fit ships right?!
doodle some lights comming outa it..

yeah, add a little scale reference, like tiny humans, loading trucks, fighters or whatever.
It looks very much like the civilan tanker / freighter in HW2.

it would be nice if there was any indication of the size of this thing. it could be the size of a planet, or the size of a car, or little toy. its hard to tell

Yeah if you just stuck some little people milling around - and maybe a couple of "tugs" (like they load luggage with on planes) it'd really the viewer get a sense of how big the ship really is.
Good work.
