Nice Ninja. Looks pretty good so far. My suggestions would be to give his head more character. He seems pretty generic right now. Also adding some more ninja stuff on him would be cool... like throwing stars or other weapons.

your design looks great. very tight, and looks like you were thiking about 3d from the start. looks like it will be a blast to work on. I would also add a bit more to his head. If he is to be a ninja of the "classic hollywood" style, I would say he is looking more like a samuri, not the mysterious "ninja."
My two cents...
Looking forward to seeing the model, though.:D

Nice costume! I'd have to agree that a more mysterious treatment to the face and head would be an improvement, but first- watch those proportions! His hands hang down to his knees! It may lead to problems during animation, with him moving more like an ape rather thana steathy assasin. Goinfg with the big hands is fine (Ido it all the time ^_^), but watch your arnm lenghts. His lower legs are kinda short as well- time for a proportion tune-up! The studies are great- I can see that you're going for exaggeration in your final, but just consider this guy in motion. I'm also seeing some creep in the placement of facial features- I cured myself of that annoying predilection by getting 'hold of a couple of mannequin heads and drawing from them- that really helps!

AfroLaxMan makes a good point about the costume, it is far more Samurai than Ninja. Ninja traditionally wore plain dark blue/re/grey paints/shirt tied at the wrists and ankles (and knees/elbows? - unsure about this) at least thats what i've read :D armour was too heavy and made too much noise. nice drawing though very clean :eat:
