Just bought myself a new Wacom and I'm giving painter a first try. I have very little experience painting and I'm trying to learn. So far I've stuck to drawing mostly.
My next challenge will be actual skintones.

So far I like painter. I haven't found the perfect oil brush settings yet though. Either I find it to dry or it smears to much. Can't seem to find an inbetween. I like the oils in Artrage for instance but I miss a lot of other functionality when using artRage.
Anyone willing to share their brush presets would be very much appreciated !! Or any and all tips and trick about brush tweaking.

I don't know. I never made a good transition from Photoshop to Painter. I like all the tools and everthing offered but it never seemed practical. I think real life paint is the way to go if you want that look.
