Sciphone.net ripping off CA.org'ers

I was just at sciphone.net looking for some iphone wallpapers, under their fantasy section I noticed a ton of familiar art that has been posted here.

I suggest everyone have a quick look through to see if you have given permissions for them to use their work.

A lot of that stuff is DA, CGTalk, or Shadowness artists. maybe post over on those forums with this also to see wassup.

one of the solutions is to report them to google now. that way they stop making money off others hard work. google will turn off their advertising revenue if they find out they are distributing content illegally.

Yeaaah the 6th last one, the one of the fox is mine...and I totally didn't give them permission, what is this again? Someone on DA pointed me here and said that I should point out which artwork was mine and yeah ^^;

I'm not sure if who's supervising this or who to contact regarding this person. The site does link to other mobilephonesites, so the pix might spread even further....Their faq does mention that stuff in the public galleries is free, but i'm not sure how true that is, that guys profile is public too.

Wow, this is bad.. there is alot of artists are I reconginezed who are not part of CA work... So how could this get resolved?

Their biz model does not require them to sell it...they are selling advertising which if their traffic is very high could net them thousands of dollars per month. They need to remove the stuff...a cease and desist letter should do the trick...but i would definitely refer them to google so their revenue takes a hit. google will shut down their adsense program for that.
