Feng Zhu's brush settings question

hi guys

ive been looking at a training dvd by Feng Zhu, and i really like the brush he's using on his quick sketches...only i'm fairly new to digital drawing/painting and have no idea what settings he uses or what setting comes close. i use photoshop and he uses painter in the clip but i'm guessing that this won't be a problem.

is there annybody here that could maybe has an idea on what brush settings he might be using in this lesson dvd (there's a sample clip on the website and some stills)

Actually, this is a problem. Painter and Photoshop have completely different brush systems. Maybe you could get something similar in photoshop, I don't know since I am no expert
