Kinda just looks sloppy. I know this is your style, but nothing stands out. It looks like you just scribbled out a rough or something. Al your females have very simular faces, also. A girl can be beautiful and look much diferent than another girl... This may be your idea of venus, but it gets boring seeing virtually the same woman in everyone of your drawings. Don't take this crit too hard, I like your stuff. The perspective is cool, and I like the line contrast.

your work is stylish and enjoyable--but i'd have to agree with c0g here, at least in that the piece is suffering from a lack of depth, which some of your other works share.
what comes to mind is something i read in 'the art of Hellboy' (a great book, btw)--Mike Mignola's editor writes about Mike's style. though it's got flat color schemes, Mike always ensures plenty of depth by making sure that each frame has a fore, middle, and background element that each have distinctive color schemes/one overriding contrast element. that way, even with flat-colored character, everything 'pops' really well almost all the time.
the trouble with this image is that, i think because of the top-down perspective, it's lacking some crucial negative space, or any significant contrast. the characters need to be popped out of the background and from each other to some degree as well.
but best of luck with the contest, and please keep up the good work. your site is quite enjoyable to look through, you've assimilated a number of different styles and i like the results.

Only about an hour to go for votes.
I hear the coloring critique, this turned-out to be a bit more ambtious than usual. Tried to keep it light and subdued enough so you could see the linework to please some people... Can't please everyone. :]

Redmond, I like your style.
There's movement in this one, there's lots going on. I had to look around the image at first, but that means I've had a good look. You got my attention.

Hmm.. hard to say.
Everything loks fine, but it's hard to say what's going on there. Mayby the colour should be the one of the medium which seperates the planes of the image.

Personally, I like it. But I think it's too "outside the box" and it wouldn't be considered coherent comicbook art.
BTW, is this a pinup or interior art? Did you follow up this picture with anything else?

I really like your lines :) The colour pallette's nice too, but the way you've laid them down interferes with the readability of the lines. Good stuff though!

As always - I love your lines. But I think the color is confusing. – Too many marks in the color, have no relation to the line work….it makes you work for the image, which is cool and all, but challenging to the reader – and you’re going to loose some people that won’t invest in the work…
