I'm going to try and keep this short for everyone :) I'm interested in the 16:10 Widescreen CG241W monitor because it being LCD and is very close to CRT monitors when it comes to colors but don't want to spend 2500$ on just a monitor so I was wondering
1. What other widescreen 24" LCD monitors are there that are close to CRT colors but cheaper in price?

2. If I get a widescreen monitor is the only widescreen wacom tablet the 6x11? And also is this tablet 16:10 or 16:9?

3. If I don't get the monitor I was thinking about getting a cintiq. Does this make illustration alot easier? what are the Pros/Cons compared to a wacom intuos3?

Please if you are able to give any info at all it would be appreciated :) need to make a decision soon.
Thanks for reading

Hello iii, I was just recently in a similar situation, though I wasn't looking for a monitor that big.

I don't know what you need, but it might be worth your time to look at Dell's selection. They have great specs and worthy prices.

I think the 6x11 is the only true widescreen tablet, however I use my 9x12 tablet just fine with a widescreen monitor (20''). So if you already have a tablet, I wouldn't worry about getting the 6x11, the aspect ratio will adjust appropriately.
