I am interested in meeting one or two artists who have role playing experience, or experience in drawing fantasy or sci-fi artwork.
World's Edge is a RPG that has been developed by my brother and myself for almost ten years. It has been played in many groups, across the states and abroad and is always well received. World's Edge is a realistic, fast, and vicious fantasy world, with 400 pages of content, and counting. The setting is gritty and dark.
We are in need of between 40-100 illustrations to complete the main set of rule books for release. Please note, the sizes of these illustrations would vary from banner size to quarter page, to half page, with a small number of full pages (perhaps even color). Some illustrations could be inserted into the flow of text. There is potential for follow on projects, as there are two more manuals planned for release after the main Rules Compendium, and they will also need art.
Because art is such an important part of any RPG book, and helps so much to craft the world and the player's visions, if possible I would be very interested in meeting with and perhaps even RPGing with the artists. The current center of Wedge activity is Boston, MA.
