Hello there, i have watched this place for some years now, and this place really inspired me to draw. Big surprise!! i want to become a concept artist. So i hope this will help me on the way. I don't draw as much as i should, not even ones a day ;( so i somewhat hope this will give me some more enthusiasm. I'm currently on a lazy media school in Norway, so i have allot of time to draw.
Last notice:(My English sucks^^;)

Welcome to CA Googolplex!
Nice start, you seem to have a nice idea of the basics. One problem that seems to pop up in most of these is large legs on tiny bodies with even tinier heads on top. If you want some good books on proportion, check out Loomis' or Bridgman's books. You can find Bridgman pretty easily, but you might have to find a download for Loomis online.
Also, I highly suggest you start drawing everyday, you'll learn so much faster.

Ah, welcome my fellow googian. It seems you are off to a good start. This site inspires many a person to begin drawing. But,it is as cup of joe says, it alllll begins with anatomy. Go pick up some George Bridgman and show us what you can do! Hoo hah!

Cup of Joe: I actually have the Loomis books(pdf) and one Bridgman, but for some reason i have stopped reading them. Thanks for pointing out my propositions^^
Goog: Then its off to the anatomy books then ;D I'll start right away.
Update: the girl and the guy with the hat is form reference images, and the dude with big ugly sword is inspired form link (http://www.gamebanshee.com/screenshots/vampirebloodlines/conceptart/screenshot34.jpg)

;/ Long time since last post, i'l try to update more often.
Here is some drawings i drew yesterday. Mindless drawings from my mind, so i have not stressed the anatomy and proportions, drawn with out thinking :) I don't think the first guy's mussels i rigth on his legs, and every forarm and hand is awkward. I dont draw very often so i forget the little anatomy i know.
But i'm quite pleased with some of the renderings, and i'l go for anatomy today.
