I know the quality of the photograph isn't the best, and for that I apologize in advance. I simply don't have access to a working scanner, and my photography skills are less than anywhere near good.

This girl got the name Victoria, and got drawn while I was sitting through yet another boring, mundane lecture during History class. I don't think her clothing is to date for any specific time period, but I was aiming for the Victorian style, hence the name Victoria.

Ugg, I hate her hands. I hate nearly all of the hands I draw. I simply haven't mastered the skill of drawing them. Or hair. Or shading. So, come to think of it, I haven't really mastered the skill for anything with drawing. But I still like this piece.

A few more sketches. I really need to work on angles of feet, I'm good at the basic angles, but not anything that might look complicated and realistic. Bleh.

Oh well, practice should help. Now if only life wouldn't get in the way of said practice.

I have no clue why the uploader keeps rotating the images I upload. They're straight in the preview, and on my computer. So I do apologize.

Hello, nice drawing to start your sketchbook, keep at it, and keep posting.

If you want to get better at drawing hands, why not draw your own hands?, copy them, study them, add some light and shadows on them, this is what you have to do when you want to get better at something in particular, i think, and im no expert, but if you make the effort to learn from your mistakes comparing them to reality, and you fix those mistakes, one by one, then youll learn, and youll be better.

Keep at it and never give up, failure is just the previous step to success, just keep at it. Good luck.
