Body Structure sketches.

I went stumbling through the attic today, and what did I manage to find? An anatomy book. So I sat down and tried some sketches based on the body structures in the book.

Edit: Oh yeah, I know that underwear isn't basic anatomy, but ma is pretty reserved and would be distressed if the guy wasn't covered.

Nice start! Keep going with it, and remember to have fun. I'm with you on the underwear thing. I know my mom would be upset or at the very least embarressed if an anatomy sketch was left out that the model wasn't covered in. Of course that is just probably because I have younger, impressionable siblings (as my mother keeps telling me), but you never know what is going through your parents' minds.

I think that's my problem lately. I haven't had fun when I drew anything, I just draw it and then start thinking about how bad it must really be. I'm just hoping to get out of this bad spell and feel somewhat confident about my 'skills'.

The underwear problem for me is that I am the younger, more impressionable sibling. XD

i have some advice about sketching full body anatomy..
if you feel at all weird about drawing any parts of your work, take a life drawing class , where you will quickly get over it. :)

really,, there was this megga huge lady we were drawing in class, and i mean (mega huge) no disrespect to the lady herself for being there, she was a very good model to draw, lots of curves.
my point, the class were all desensitised to almost everything after a half hour or so of looking at this swetting gargantuan woman purched naked on a little wooden stool.

I'll have to wait a while to take a life drawing course, sadly. There are none on the island.
