Could anyone perhaps tell me about some art schools in London? Does any one here attend a certain one?
I live in America and so visiting websites from a google search and reading what schools have to offer with out really knowing anything else kind of limits me, so I'm really hoping some one has any information or opinions! Thanks!

Hey there, I just moved to the states from London this summer, lived there for 3 years. I have a couple of friends who go to Central St. Martins currently and love it. It's right downtown London in the best and most popular areas, I've heard good things about it. Only downside thing I've heard about it is that residency isn't all that great, especially if you are doing foundation. But London has a lot of student housing organizations that are modern and really nice. I'll contact one of my friends who goes there now and find out some more info if you'd like, have any specific question you'd like answers to?

Wow! that'd be fantastic!
Some questions:
What are the teachers like (do they know their stuff)?
How close is it to central London?
And if possible what exactly is bad about the living accommodations?
Thanks for the reply!!

Hi I sent an email to my friend regarding the teachers so will hopefully hear back from her by tomorrow.
I can answer the other two, it is located right in central London pretty much, it's a bit spread out but the majority of the campus as I said is located in a very popular part of London, the best shopping district, china town, soho, and the theatre district all in one pretty much! Here is a link showing a map : http://www.csm.arts.ac.uk/csm_map.htm.
And as far as the living accommodations, I stayed with my friend in her dorm for a few nights and the interior and such was nice and decent but located in a very sketchy and not exactly safe part of London, but then again I do know that there are of course other buildings located closer to the school so it depends what you get really; overall I say they are decent but you have to be careful about where they are located. And if you are interested, check out this site called "Nido," it is a student living organization in London and has some amazing dorms! http://www.nidolondon.com/
Hope this helps!
