Well this is my first post here, well first 'real' post....
I'm working on a dragon, it started out more as a test of new paper (bristol).

Could use some C&C :)
I'm 19, and still learning and stuff so do keep that in mind.

Edit: updated the pictures, had to scan them in 4 parts but it worked! :)

hey, im 19 too... I'd say we both kick ass for our age:)

that dragon is badass. You should make him escape from something. ... thats what the pose suggests.. in my eyes..

keep on drawin, and so will I.

Thanks!

I can't say of myself that I kickass... the real masters kickass, I'm trying to learn how to, but am far from my goal so therefor I do not kick ass :)

Run, thats a good one, I'll think about that one! thanks!

Yeah I agree draw him escaping from a very tall tower structure towards the right side of him(behind), Looks great, although you should finish the other wing and add slight color too, but that's my opinon, 19 huh?

A great structure... hmmm there's a thought! thnx!

Yeah, i'm working on the other wing now, and then the tail... and then the background...
but damn, this is my first drawing on such a large piece of paper, and it's taking a looooooot of time! :p

Thnx for the comment!

welcome to CA :D
hmm im liking this alot
the pose and perspective are quite dynamic.

i think the very over exagerated muscle groups are interesting, it gives it that scaly look, like its made out of many different pieces of hide, but perhaps maybe you should contour the muscle groups a bit more?

I also think the tail might be great if it would flap over to the left (our view), like twisting and bending abit. I think that would add even more movement to the drawing.

good stuff
make more ;)

Texture and proportions look good, but there's something odd about the relationship between the left knee and left foot, like the foot is cocked at a weird angle. Can't wait to see it completed.

Great piece! And your updates just keep getting better each time. No suggestions for the background though, although the big group of dragons look like a great start.

I love this sketch! Course I'm prejudiced, dragons are my favorites! I don't see much wrong with it, I'd maybe try to bring out the head on the main dragon a bit more. It kind of blends into the body of the dragon. A bit more highlighting on it would probably do it. Keep up the good work Bylo, Absolutely wonderful!

Its awesom. It keeps getting better and better. Also nice to see regular pen and paper in use (real biiig paper too). :D
