hello all, I'm an industrial design student, and am looking to get into concept art, and refine my drawing/ and painting (both analog and digital) skills. I was wondering if there are any classic concept art exercises. Any help is appritiated.

Hey there. You are in the right section for this kind of information. If you just snoop around the mentoring threads, and try the assignments mentors give their mentees here, that would be a very good start. Some of the latest ones I think are interesting:
Ostrandrer's Thread (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=109543)
Beelow's thread (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=108690)
Idiot Apathy's Thread (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=107208)
Of course there are other very good threads, I just can't list them all ehre...just have a look around you are sure to find something you like.
Have fun!
