Hi People,

Im new here, I was wondering if you all could help me

The problem is i really suck at colouring and image.. big time! i can draw almost anything as long as im using a good ond fashioned pencil but as soo as I start to colour anything it looks nasty!, unprofessional! and should belong on the fridge with 'Sam aged 4' writen in crayon next to it.

Does any one know some in depth tutorials? or maybe im using the wrong sort of brushes in Photoshop

Any help would be great thanks

Sam

You should really try googling "Color Theory" so you can start studying that. That's more important than choosing different brushes to work with. If you need some guided instruction, try following this thread over here: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=76955 It's going to help you a lot. You can also check out the tutorial section over here: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=42 There are quite a few threads in there that will help you get started with coloring
