Here's some of my stuff....love it....hate it....help it along.... I'm 17 years old, graduated from highschool a year early, and I'm an aspiring art student. I've been drawing for about a year now w/o instruction, but I think that if I had some guidence and motivation I could really excell in art. I hope that this will motivate me to keep drawing...and with an attention span like mine I need a motivator.

What's a good anatomy book to study? And how much does it cost?

You can download Loomis's anatomy book, it's free:

Keep drawing anatomy, and definitely try to draw from real life too.
Good luck! And show us your progress!

Anatomy, as people above have said, is your major downfall.
I suggest 'Anatomy For The Artist'. It's a great book.
Keep drawing.
