I am a new member to the site, and this is my first attempt to start an online sketchbook. Everything I've done so far is either graphite, or pen and ink and scanned into my hard drive.

Here is a couple to start with:

Well, that seemed to work. I hope the content will be deemed "racy, but not offensive". If my sketches are over the line, please let me know. In the meantime critique is welcome.

I won't say it's that racy (the one with the pose in the first post). Just working on anatomy and whatnot. I like the shading for the first two ones, as well as the poses. Maybe more work with the hair? Not saying it sucks or anything, but to have more understanding with it. With thin hair, thick hair strands, etc. Get more variety with it.

Here's a few more from the archive. I haven't gotten around to scanning any recent stuff.

Here are a couple of execises in perspective.

Please excuse the notes. I use my sketchbook as a visual diary sometimes.

This is a 5 minute gesture scribble done while waiting for my wife to arrive on a flight from Vancouver.

I would really like some suggestion on how to get better at this sort of quickie image capture.
